CCMstatisticaldata.LDF file expanding

I have a problem whereby my CCMStatistical data transaction logfile is increasing everyday, by very large amounts, probably about 15-20gig/day. I can shrink the file and get the space back, but need to find out what is causing this.
CCM version 6SP2.

Anybody seen this problem before ?

What is the size of the LDF file after you shrink it?
