Have a co-res CCMA/CCMS server, after loading SU08 (CCMA) and following all the necessary post-install steps per the readme I am still receiving this message via a dialog box in IE. "A CCMA web service failed to execute as the CCMA Server has not been configured correctly. Please follow the web services configuration guidelines outlined in the CCMA Installation & Maintenance Guide or the CCMA SU08 Readme

Are you sure you set the correct IUSR_SWC password in IIS?

Is there a correct password that should be entered as i just made up one, the doc's don't seem to be real specific about this.

Also just for additional information that the password entered was the same for the NT_webServicesPool and the DefaultAppPool as well as the anonymous user for IIS.

can you check this?

Change the ASP.NET version to 2.0.50727

Start --> Administrative Tools -->
IIS Manager --> +Local Computer --> Right Click Default Web Sites--> Properties --> ASP.NET Tab
ASP.NET version: 1.1.4322 to 2.0.50727 (Drop down arrow)

Start --> Run --> iisreset

Already set to v2.0 changed it earlier as a troublshooting step.

It needs to match the password you set on the Windows Account in User management.

The password used matches across the board, this includes all setting for IIS, i have went through the procedure several times to ensure that i did not fat finger the password used. As we all know can happen from time to time. I appreciate all the quick responses it just feels like i have hit a wall.

Did you check that your web services extenstions is allowing ASP.NET V1.1.4322 and ASP.NET V2.0.50727?

When you set the IIS services to the IUSR_SWC account did you press the check names button?

Figured out my issue, apparently the server was sent to me with Windows 2003R2 SP2. 2003R2 is supported as long as you do not run the additional components, the caveat is that 2003R2 SP2 is not supported on release 6.0 but is on 7.0 (AACC that is). So, it is the additional items on SP2 that is hosing me and farkling my CCMA. Thanks again for all your quick responses and assistance.

Ah ok didn't realize this was a new server, I thought you were upgrading an existing machine. Well glad you figured it out, thanks for posting the solution.

I just want to put my observation. I have a CC6 ,Coresident config (CCMS,CCMA,LM and Server Utility) on a Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise SP2in a lab set up . CCMA didn't create any issues. Works fine

APDS,

You say you got it to run on your lab server, was it patched up fully or was it a fresh install then CCM install with no updates.
