CCMA 6.0 - Run-time error 5

Windows 2003 server SP1

During the install of CCMA on a stand-alone server (no replication) I recieve a error message at the end of the install. It is a " Run-time error '5'" message stating a failure in encrypting CCMA accounts.

There is a event 529 in the event viewer stating that IceAdmin cant log on due to unkown user name or bad password. The local account is created and is not locked out.

-Local policy allows local accounts with simple pwd
-Local policy allows log on as a batch job

after you installed sp1 did you add any other Microsoft updates?

Did you install the Crystal and Sybase Program with no errors?

Sybase and Crystal installed w/o a problem. No SP's for ADAM either.

Yeah, IIS is installed. Any thoughts or problems with IIS?

Also, this is a new instal...no SWC 4.5

hi

i had a simalar issue you need to go into the actual service for the ccma ice admin and check that the iceadmin username and password are the same as the iceadmin username and password on the ccma admin area
