I'm getting an error trying to activate scheduled reports on a CCMA 6.0 on SU04 -- "could not active schedule for (name of report) report." This occurs when I try to activate through Scheduled Events. When I try to actgivate it from the report itself, the error is "Unable to activate the schedule for (name of report): Cannot active job, Job has already actived" (misspellings are Nortel's)

Doesn't matter if this is to a printer or to the Reports folder. I can run them ad hoc and it will work, including to the Reports folder on the CCMA (I did share the folder as instructed).

Any ideas?

I have seen this error before with a new install. I believe it was corrected by reloading the Service updates. Let me check with our installer to see what he did.

Thanks for replying. In looking at my original post, I see that I omitted some pretty important information:

(1) The server was originally installed about 3-1/2 months ago, and has functioned normally since then -- except that scheduled reports was not used.
(2) Originally, there was not a requirement for scheduled reports to print to a share drive. The customer attempted to print to a shared drive without the required permissions, which of course failed.
(3) SU04 was installed about a week ago. I cannot activate scheduled reports, but apparently that was not a problem earlier. There are activated reports, and I can deactivate those reports -- but I cannot then activate them.
(4) I can run ad hoc reports to the shared Reports folder on the CCMA server. I cannot activate a scheduled report to either a printer or to a folder.
(5) The errors pop up immediately when I try to activate a report.
(6) The server is a member of the customer domain.

I suspect that SU04 is the culprit. But it could be a domain policy issue (ugh! They would never admit that, if they even knew it).

Has anybody seen a problem with activating scheduled reports after installing SU04?

This happens on Symposium 5 also. Unfortunately I cant remember what I did to fix it, (great help aren't I). One thing I did do was to copy the report template and save it with a different name and schedule it. I think I then managed to delete the original.

Seen this with SU04

1. Reset IUSR_SWC password thru Computer Management, then update it in IIS.

2. Perform CCMA SU04 post installation tasks (four of them). Two tasks involve entering IUSR_SWC password (which you reset in step 1) so make sure you enter it correctly.

Remember CCMA SU 04 changes the communication process (gets rid of SOAP in favor of .NET). You will need to reconfigure all clients when loading SU 04.

I had this issue on SU 03. The install technician fixed it after opening a trouble ticket. When I queried him on what he did, he can only remember re-loading patches.

Thanks, all. We're okay now -- your advice was right on, thanks -- but also had to implement a workaround relating to the CCMA server being in a domain..
