Is anyone using a CCMA 6.0 standalone server for administration on a Symposium 5.0 server?

yes,

we are in the process of upgarding all our symposium to 6 but have ccma linked to 2 sccs5's

works a treat. way better than the old sccs webclient

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

Since you are using CCMA to administer a SCCS 5.0 server, where did you install the License Manager for the Contact Center?

Also, I'm trying to install CCMA and it gives me a run-time error at the end of the installation. Only information is on the top of the error pop-up that says

CCMAencyptedpasswords

So, the script to enrcypt the passwords is failing. Any thoughts on what's the problem? (2003 server, SP1)
Thanks.

no license manager needed for sccs.

for the 6's we have installed the primary license manager on the ncc and a secondary on one of our 6's.

Watch out for License manager especially in corporate licence mode. go nowhere near it unless su03 is installed.

First time we tried LM it shut our call centres down. we had to roll back one server to 5 and convert a 6 from a corp licence back to a nodal.

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

Thanks for the heads up on the LM. Any thoughts on the CCMA encrypted password error?

Thanks.

sorry no idea about the password stuff

mikeyb123...one more question about your environment.

Were you using SWC 4.5 before going to CCMA 6.0 or was CCMA 6.0 installed on a fresh Win 2003 with no migration of data or ADAM information?

they were fresh installs on clean servers
