Hi All,

I'm reaching out to get input on an alternative to purchasing PRI's. Currently we have quite a few remote sites with 5 people or less. Due to the cost, a PRI or partial PRI is not a viable solution. Does anyone have experience in setting up the CCM with analog or BRI lines? Any issues associated with this?

Our router at these sites will be the 2851 model. Do you know what type/model of cards we will need to support analog lines?

Thanks!

No issues at all with analog lines. You will need FXO modules for the routers and DSPs (PVDM) if you don't already have them.
FXO modules come in 2 and 4 port configurations.

Thank you for the quick post whykap! I am currently online looking for the correct FXO module. My plan is to test it out on the router. When you say 2 and 4 port configurations do you mean it will only support 2 or 4 lines? If we needed more than 4 lines, we could just install another FXO module?
