CCM Client install..?

What is the correct install process for IM & CM.

I have installed IM and get an error… “Event Service connection failed”. IM works fine on other PCs

The only install apps are in a folder the server. I did the following...

1) \AppsFiles\iFORv4\CRK40\DISK1\Setup.exe
2) iFor Config Tool, Client ip:10.10.10.112[1515] This is the same as others
3) Log off
4) \Program Files\Ericsson\CCM.s\CCMCli\Setup.exe
5) Reboot

You need to install the CCM broker service and reboot before the client installation of IM or CM.

This is an extra client install on a working system.
The CCM broker service and others are all running on the server.

The Broker service also needs to be on the client...
 
Does this show as a Windows Service on the client..?

Because on my PC I don’t see a CCM Broker Service and IM & CM are working fine.

OK, maybe I didn't remember that bit right.... perhaps you don't need broker on the client...

Have you exceeded your license limit?
 
Is the IFOR corectly installed. You can check it on the DOS promt and write i4tv.

No not a license issue, using 3 and have 9 allowed.
CM is working fine.
Are there any log files to assist in fault locating..?

iFor is running OK... get same results for working PC and faulty IM pc.

I have just checked the IM Client version.
It's 4.0.4.0 on the working PC & the faulty client is 4.0.0.0

The faulty IM was installed from a mapped drive...
\\ACDServer\Program Files\Ericsson\CCM.s\CCMCli\Setup.exe

How do I get at the updated client install or do I update the client after install..?

Update the client after install, there should be a service pack folder somewhere ;-)
