Hey, has anyone put CCM (Prairie Fyre) and YA on the same server?

The YA will only have 5-10 users. Both applications will be at the current releases (CCM 5.4 and YA 5.0). The CCM is only doing minor ACD reporting right now, no intelligent queueing or Call Accounting.

Has anyone else tried this?

Hi paterson,

It would be highly unlikely that you would have any issues. Their is no sharing of binaries between either programs.

Same answer I gave on a different post.

Real question should be IS IT SUPPORTED?

What do you do when something goes wrong with one app or the other?

Thanks guys,

Neither of these apps will be critical, so if there is a problem, oh well. It's not like I'm putting 3 or 4 critical apps on the same server like VM, remote users, or conferencing... OOPS was that my out loud voice?

The issue is the Minet protocol. They both use Minet, and they are not the same version.
Both applications are developed by two separate development companies, and they both use different versions of Minet.

I hope this helps. If you do get it to work, post back and let us all know.
