ccie written exam preparation

Hi,
yesterday i have written a test for the ccie but i failed it. could you please give me some hints, notes, books or show me some links which are critical for my reading task and with a good reading of this books, links etc i will have a chance to pass this test.
My problem now is that i don't know which books are going to give me the opportunity to pass this test even i try hard for this.
for my study i used the book "CCIE Routing and Switching Exam Certification Guide" (ciscopress) but the questions i had in the written test was much more difficult than the contents of this book.
i think that cisco changes this test and now is more difficult to pass this.

Yes I have one sugestion, can you get any true router-switch time to realy put the reading to use? I have a long way to go even to get to your level but I have found the more hands on the easyer the tests. Good luck!!!

Prepare for the lab......then it becomes easy for the Written....I would appreciate if u can have some hands on the Routers and Switches before u can try next time...

The book(hopefully not the New CCIE book from Cisco Press-Author: Bruno) u used to study is good to prepare...but it all depends on how u approach the book...Pls use it as a Reference book....for every topic u finish, check the cisco website and also some example configs thats available on the same site.

Also would like to inform u that...the new cisco press book for CCIE is a joke(Bruno's book)....Buy the old one..ie; Jeff Doyle for Routing(Routing TCP/IP Vol I and II) and Switching book(Clark and Hamilton)
