I have a customer that has CCC v5 with PC Wallboard, and CC View.

Q1. When PC Wallboard is in plasma mode, does the wallboard take up the whole screen or just take up a small portion like standard wallboard?

Q2. Is there a way to recieve any kind of audible alert on a paging system, bell, or anything when calls in queue exceed a certain limit or an ETA limit is exceeded?

Q3. This customer has a daily tape backup of various servers on his network. What files and folders on the ccc server need to be backed up on daily tape backup in the event there is a catastrophic ccc server crash, that would allow for a complete ccc server restore?

Thanks in advance

Hi GonzoTech97,

Q1. You can use /PLASMA /NOMENUS in the PC wallboard shortcut properties and that will allow full screen.

Q2. When setting the alarms in CCV, you can activate "Audio Alarm Set/Clear" under the "Alarm Settings" tab. This sound is only heard on the supervisors PC running CCV. If you could hook their sound card up to a paging speaker, you may have some luck. Otherwise, if you use a Ferrograph Physical Wallboard, these can be set to have an Buzzer Alarm when you create the alarm in Wallboard Alarms Wizard. Im not sure if the other brands of physical wallboards support this(Spectrum or AdvaTel).
Q3. You should copy the CCC folder with all its sub folders. These contain user profiles, wallboard template, alarms etc... You will then need to use SQL enterprise manager (for SQL) or The Database Server Supervisor (for MSDE)to organize a regular back up of the database as this wont be backed up under a normal daily tape back up.

I hope this helps.

PrivateBuild,

Thanks for the info. It will help a bunch.

Is PC wallboard capable of getting audible alerts on alarms?

Thanks in advance.
