I have a customer of which my company implemented CCC Reporting for them, and CCC is running on their File Server which has Windows 2003, when they try to access the reporting program from a browser on a machine on the network, every so often (maybe every 2 weeks) they get the error message DBNETLIB and they cannot access anything. The IT guys has restarted the Delta Server Service I believe and that has fixed it, but he is tired of continously going in there and doing that. Anyone have any ideas why it is doing this? Im thinking it might even have something to do with SQL server.

Never seen it.

Googling DBNETLIB come up with peopling talking about SQL so I would start there. Is it MSDE or Full SQL. Which version did your guys use??

Not sure why restarting Delta Server would fix Reporter errors, unless I am mistaken Reporter only looks at DS for license validation.

When does this error come up, when you start Reporter or trying to run a report?

Does the server has multiple network cards?

Yould could try to turn on/off Netbios on one of the network cards.

Try changing the name connections to the SQL to use IP addresses rather than the named server.
