When i start CCC reporter it opens up the browser the shows an error.

Turn off your pop up blocker

check fw and popup blockers are off or at least have exceptions added.

If not load .net and also ensure you have reporter.exe added as a DEP exception.

This can be found as Control Panel/System/Advanced/Performance settings/Data Excecution.

The Reporter needs a Crystal Reporter plugin which may not be installed correctly.
Erase all Inetrnet Explorer history files and cookies, enable popups and accept cookies and try again.
If it then still fials check if all neccessey components of IIS are installed on the server and/or do a repair on the CCC installation without creating a new database.

I had this happen once, I had to reinstall the Crystal Component ont he server.

Think you have add it to trusted sites

I have seen this one many times. Make sure the reporter service is running. Also, make sure MSDESQL is running, because reporter pulls the information from it.

I am running in to this problem on a site use 2003. I have not had a chance to try these fixes yet. Is there special issues with 2003?

check what version of .net it is using. set it to use the 1.0xx version rather than the 2.x version. this always causes problems.
