CCC Reporter - Email Issue

Hi all - I am having an issue with the CCC Reporting tool and the auto distribution to various email accounts. I have set up the preset reports to run and be e-mailed automatically.

- The reporting tool shows the reports are being run daily.
- Reporting Admin console has proper smtp server set
- outlook is configured

OS is Win Server 2003 -

I thought this would be a realtively easy fix but I just can not get it to work. I have tried multiple options with no success.

If anyone has a suggestions please let me know.

What do you get in the the log?

If it says could not access CDO message object it cannot either see the smtp server or it is set up incorrectly.

ACA - IP Office Implement
ACS - IP Office Implement
ACE - IP Office Implement
ACI - IP Office Implement
 
Make sure the SMTP gateway of choice will allow relays from the CCC host. Z

I see in the log that the message is "could not access 'cdo.message' object. When you say not set up correctly are you refering to CCC Reporting tool?

I will look into the SMTP set-up and try to verify its correct.

this is a problem of the mailserver not allowing you to relay e-mail
enable the relay option in exchange and it will work
