CC6 dialer - info required

Can anyone confirm whether the CC6 dialer is preview only or can it do progressive as well?

Also are we going to rename this forum now that Nortel have rebadged their product suite?!

What they say is that it is a blending of a progressive dialer and preview dialer. It will reserve the agent and the contact will be up on the screen prior to the call being made.

If it preserves the agent, then it is preview.
How can THEY lay claim to being predictive if the agent is reserved?

They do not claim that it is a predictive dialer. You can select between preview and progressive.

It just went GA in the US in the last 2-3 weeks also. I have gone to the training class for it, but don't have any customers on it at this point.

Isn't the Dialer part of CCMM (Multi Media) product and not CC6?

Yes it is the Multimedia Outbound package that is a feature within CC6.
