CC6 anti virus software

has anybody used Sophos Anti Virus with CC6 or Symposium? Nortel dont test with Sophos it seems, but someone must be using it??

We use it. The servers are PVI compliant and the suppliers have supplied us with a document on how to set it up.

No issues.

Hi Dave, do you schedule the updates to happen or do you do this manually?
Nortel recommend that all updates are done manually and not done directly to the CC6 server, but via a proxy of some sort, ie another server.
I have a customer who uses Sophos and has a server to gather the updates, ideally we would want to upate daily at midnight or something

Any updates are pushed by a central server.

As long as you don't scan D:\Nortel, D:\Sybase and any Database drives, any Antivirus should be OK.

Of course, it's preferable to test on the lab server or during the maintenance window first.
