CC Express 7.1 SIP why is switch serial number grayed out?

I am installing my first 7.1 Express SIP. Most of the stuff seems pretty straight forward. A little concerned as I cannot change the serial number on the installation set up screen for the switch. Is this an issue. This is my second time installing this as I could not get license manager to start the first time.. said there was a mismatch on the licensing... Flummoxed!

I thought SIP installations had the LIC file against the MAC address of the LM installed location.
