I'm cutting over from a Cisco system to an IPO500V2 this weekend. I'm a little nervous because the system is using a CBeyond SIP trunk and documentation to configure is from IPO R4.0 and everything is different now in regards to the SIP trunk setup. I've read through old posts about this very issue but have not seen an actual config or screenshots of the SIP trunk setup. Does anyone have an IPO R7 with CBeyond SIP trunk working that can send me screenshots of the trunk configuration tabs? Or a config? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thrtnastrx did you get that configuration I sent over to you? It seems like nobody else has these SIP configs lying around.

I never keep configs but I've done several with Cbeyond. They provide CPE and a dedicated circuit so it is usually very easy.

Yeah it was pretty easy. I've never worked with CBeyond for SIP before so I was being cautionary but if I recall, it took about 60 seconds to get the trunk operational.

Is there any documentation? I have one that I am getting ready to do and can find nothing except from 4.0.

Anyone have a functional R7 config I can take a look at for integrating to Cbeyond SIP trunks? Have a system I need to configure and ship out for installation, and would like to verify that my SIP settings are correct before I send it out. I don't completely trust the old R4 application notes I found. Any help would be appreciated.

There is not much change for SIP in R4 compared to R7 the Authantication is on a different tab and some extra options to tick. If you don't know the option or isn't in the R4 doc leave it as it is. From what i've seen in the docs it's all basic.

Just read the docs twice before you start and everything will become clear for R7.

That's kind of what I figured. Shipped it out yesterday. Hopefully I didn't miss anything. Thanks for the reply.
