Forgive me if I am doing something v silly, but I haven't used CBC before.

on 2.1, have the CBC license etc etc

Installed Delta Server - finds the IPO fine, and logging to CSV file is working fine.

Install CBC on the same server - start it, but it just searches and searches for a delta server - and it never finds it!!

What am I missing!!!

cheers.

Now that is just plain weird. I've never had a prob when CBC is on the same machine as DS. did you install it with admin priveleges?

Peter

Try to specify the machine name in the search area and see if it finds its self I think we have had this before.

[cheers]

I think I tried that the first time - I'll check that later.

To Morrack's question - ermmm it wasn't installed as a domain admin - only whatever admin rights I have on the network. It installed fine (like all other s/w!) so I don't know if it requires an actual admin login etc. I'll login as the actual machine admin later on. Thanks for your ideas.

Petter would be refering to LOCAL Admin rights not domain Admin

Always install IP Office software (& I would suggest any other software) as a local administrator otherwise restricted access to the registry & profiles can cause strange results

Has a fix been found for this problem?
I am having the same thing happen to me.

yeh - the PC I was using had been installed by someone else, and it wasn't really setup properly. Did a clean install of Windows and all was fine!
