Category Count in External Rollup

Can anyone give me a workaround to get a category count for an external rollup. As per cognos documentation, it's not permissible.
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
If you are creating your file that contains the external roll ups using Impromptu, simply do the category count there. Otherwise, you're SOL.
