Cat5 and Moister 1

Been having trouble with irratic download speeds and data transmissions stopping with wireless setup. Can't give ya too many specifics other than I have an outdoor antenna with an airbridge. (Hope that's enough).

Anyway, while trouble shooting this headache, I replaced both rj-45 connectors on the cable and I noticed a drop or 2 (or 3) of water dripped out of the insulation when replacing the connector (antenna end of the cable, of course!). The connector is located inside of the antenna setup and all looks clean and dry, so I assume there must be a pinhole somewhere in the insulation.

Actual question: Will some water being inside if the insulation affect the signal? I need an informed and definate answer because replacing this cable will NOT be an easy task.

BTW: When checking signal strength, everything seems fine but I have fought this problem for nearly 2 weeks now and am running out of ideas.
