HELP! It looks like we have been corrupted. We are getting *.cat files in our database. I am going to run the check now. Has anyone else run into this and what steps did you take?????

Well I looked for some documentation and saw that if we were getting * in the job id that it may be the service account without enough permissions to write to the database. Sure enough that may be it. We changed the service account a few months ago and that looks like it may be it. I am running the mergecat now to see if that is it...crossing my fingers...Suggestions and comments still welcome!

This did not work although I have shared this correctly now. I am seeing we have to have db corruption. Anyone have any suggestions on what is the best way to fix this?

DB is about 16gb
tmp folder is about 498 mb full of security cat files and the other diff tmp files (not worried about those)
