cast from DBNULL to type boolean is not valid

I am getting this in my app on records that I added thru an insert stored proc and parameters. I suspect it is a checkbox. How should I handle the checkbox data type in the parameter list, I used a char type...

In SQL Server, you'd use a "Bit" data type which is 1 or 0 (true or false). You'd set its value according to CheckBox.Checked (or whatever).

What do you want to insert into the database ?? Do you want to insert the checkbox.text or just a boolean value to check whether the checkbox was checked/not checked ??
