How can the cache page buffer be reset on a server without boot????
can a schedule be set to reset the page buffer after business hours ones a week.
cant reboot.

look into DBCC DROPCLEANBUFFERS and DBCC FREEPROCCACHE.

DBCC commands are native to SQL Server. Simply open Query analyzer or another query tool and execute the statments. Additional details about the commands can be found in SQL BOL. If you want to get the best answer for your question read faq183-874 and thread183-468158.
