I am having trouble editing text because the curser is so large I can't even tell where it is. I am in the Type tool and the blinking curser is about 5 lines tall and I can't tell what line I'm on. Can someone offer some advice??
THANKS! I'm going nuts.

Launch ID and do not open a document or create a new one. Open Character window check the size of the default font. If it's really bid change it to 12 pt or so. Then quit ID.

I'm guessing that you inadvertently set the default font size very big. Doing the above resets the default.

Of course it's possible that you set a character/paragraph style that would be calling for a big font size and applied that to the text frame. If so, you'd have to detach the style from that frame.

Thank you for saving my day jmgalvin. I now have a normal curser again and I'm very happy to see it behaving like it used to. The tip was of HUGE value to me.
