I have files checked into VSS whose filenames are all uppercase. VSS explorer shows them as all uppercase.
When I do a VSS "show history", then do a "get" on such a file, the file ends up on my hard disk with both the NT and MS-DOS filename changed to all lower case.
I am using Windows NT and VSS 6.0
NT explorer is set up to "allow all uppercase names"
This happens to filenames that happen to be 8.3 compliant
as well as "long" names.
Does anyone know how the filename is getting molested?
Thanks
