I am intending to fit 2 80mm case fans inside a PC but was wondering which way round they should both go.

Is it best to have both blowing air out of the case, both blowing into the case or one in each direction?

Thanks

Steve

It depends a little on the case layout, but traditionally the front fan (down near the bottom) is blowing in. In the back (higer up - remember heat rises) blowing out.

Generally accepted flow is in at the bottom front and out upper back.
Considering the PS will exhaust air, too, I'd make the 1 in front draw air in (blow in) and the 1 in back exhaust (blow out).
Practices vary widely, as do opinions.
This is mine.

That's answered my question!

Many Thanks
