Has anyone ever attempted to use or did use one of the following expansion cabinets NTDK50 or NTAK12 for a NTBK70?

i have not but would need to test it prior to doing an install... you can test it locally with a test cable to emulate the t1.. all that cable needs is 1,2 to 4 and 5 going to 4,5 1 and 2... that can be used short haul as a perm or temp t1

This is an expansion cabinet not a main cabinet so no t-1 testing can be done. I have to attach it at the P1 ports. This is to get the 10-15 slots on a carrier remote not 0-9.

Everyone that I have talked(vendors and technical users) have not attempted it or look at me like I am nuts for thinking it.

It really boils down to, is there any architectual difference in the cabinets other then the part number.

my bad, i saw carrier remote and went on 1st glance... i would not give you a strange look but i would still try it prior to buying a new cab

I have and it does not work. I tried to use to make sure a fiber link was good and test phone prior to a move, and no go. It works great to hang and cable the cabinet out.

Good luck
