how to make carriage return in windows: editbox.
'\n' and '\r' do not work

I have it and Im working on it!but i don't know how to make this.Im using VC++ 6.
you've ever try it?
 
see when the edit bix windows is created add |ES_MULTILINE in the style, see some Create/CreateWindow like function. Or in a dialog box in resources you just can add it in properties. John Fill

if so i should create by my self (source code) not using ressource editor?
I already designed the form template.
Im using also MFC so I can't see "create function"
 
Sorry - didn't see this thread and have raised another one on the same issue.
I have tried all the obvious things (\n\r etc)
I assume the funny character you are getting is the same ....a bit like a | but in bold ??
 
yrou control should have multyline in style. See it in properties when you're creating it in resource editor. There is a check box, check it. Ion Filipski
