Cards on Nortel passport 1

Excuse me...I'm a tester of the Network Management System, would any body tell me how many kinds of card that Nortel Passport 7480, 15000 have, what are they , and how many ports on each kind, what's the difference between them, please, or give me any document to explain it, thank you very much

Hanna,

The best thing you can do is to create an ID with Nortel networks with your site ID and access the documents, since 7400 and 15k series Passports supports a lot of cards on it!!

and register your self before you can access the documentation, I worked with Nortel partner in past and dont have access anymore to the site, or else would have helped more!!! Good luck in your search!

can you tell me something about your company, your position and your relation to nortel?

My company is in America, and I'm in its filiale in China, I'm in a team who makes an OSS system for a company, getting the information of Nortel passport all over the nation is part of our system's tasks, and I was the tester of the team, but had no way to get enough knowledge about the passports, in fact our system has just been checked and accepted on November, so it's not in a hurry for me to get the knowledge of passport, but I still want to know more about the passport, so...

Ok, just check with your company if they have any direct contact with Nortel, or if your company has a registered site ID with Nortel, in that case you can create your own login account with your company e-mail id.
