I have a single cabinet in a remote office. I statted loops 0-10 and under look 1 I get an NPR006 message saying "card parameter out-of-range" Is slot one not available on an Option 11? Thank you for your help.

I believe so in the older system I think that's where the TDS/DTR or SDI card went.

Card slot 1 has allways been available on opt11. Couldn't it be that there is a PRI card (NTBK50) in slot 1..., status should then be queried in LD 60.

regards,
Frda

Slot 1 is availible I was looking at the old Option 11. By default slot 1 was built with TDS/DTR but you could change it. sorry for the mis information.

So what does "card out of range" mean? out of what range?

Here is a good example:
REQ: STAT 8
NPR006

REQ: STAT 9
CARD UNEQ

This is one of my Option 11s and obviously slot 9 is free but what is the deal with slot 8? thank you very much.

try prt_tnd_8...looks like ti has comthing programed on it that can not be stated from 32. when you stat in load 20 you are linked to load 32 not the other maint loads. not ever thing in the switch can be stat-ed from 32

Like they said earlier go to LD 60 and then stat card 8. Good luck

i did and it's programmed as a T1. So from now on when I stat each slot individually and I get an NPR006 message I'll check it in LD 60 to see if it's a T1 card. Thanks to all for your assistance.

Hi,

You could also print the CEQU in ld 22

REQ: PRT
TYPE: CEQU

There you see the all card slots used by non DGTL/FALC card.

You could also go into LD 117 (Rls 24 and up) and type the follwing

=> INV GEN CARDS/SETS/ALL (pick one)

Wait for the finished message

=> INV PRT CARDS/SETS/ALL (pick one)

This will give you an INVentory of all the cards/sets in the switch

cequ is the fastest, but the print out on an 11 can be strange, i know it's cheating but you can take the door off and look. the cards are marked.

wish I could take the door off but it's in another state. I just don't understand how, if for example I have a two-cabinet Option 11, some slots show unequipped and some show disabled if they're all in the same cabinet. The way I understand it is the first cabinet starts with 0 and the 2nd starts with one. If there's ten slots in each cabinet then how are some of them disabled?
REQ: STAT 11 (isn't this 2nd cab. slot 1?)
CARD UNEQ
REQ: STAT 12 (2nd cabinet slot 2?)
CARD UNEQ
REQ: STAT 13 (2nd cabinet slot 3?)
LOOP DSBL

disabled is nortel for programed but down, uneq is nortel for not built in the software. if i build a phone on a empty slot, it is disabled, if i out the last phone on a working card it will show uneq. you can ld 32 idc 11, and it will try to read the eprom on that card and tell you what it is.
