I am having two problems right now with my MetaFrameXP box.

Server config: WinNT 4.0 Terminal Server SP6, MetaFrame XP ver 1.00 Build 1045. Dual 1G Processor, 1GB RAM, plenty of free diskspace.

1. I have some users who logon and CAN see all printers of any user who is currently logged on to the Citrix server. I am hoping there is a way to setup that they can only see their own printers. The users are in the domain users group only, NO special rights to the server.

2. I have a couple of users who must logon and logoff several times to get their printers captured, they finally do successfully capture their printers. In the interim I am having these users run the printcfg cmd and manually connect their printers, so to prevent them from having to logon and logoff.

I am not that experienced with the Citrix products. Any pointers would be appreciated. I do not want to use any 3rd party products, but to use the features within MetaFrame itself to resolve these problems.

Thanks,
Jamie

Citrix Document ID CTX989874
(domain users were members of the local power users group on my MetaFrameXP box)

Also, had to change the naming scheme in the wtsuprn.inf fixed my problem.

people using the same Citrix username see each others printers. When they have there own set-up they only see their own, unless;

- the driver is not loaded or within the printer 'ini' mapping file

or

- The default printer is not set in windows

or

- the client name is not set correctly in the tools/ICA setting menu option
