Does anyone know if it's possible? I don't want to create print queues and have them service by NDPS printer agent.

Thanks

I don't think you can capture an NDPS Print Queue (someone might prove me wrong). Sorry mate, I think you'll have to create a Print Queue and like you said have it service the NDPS Queue. -----------------------------------------------------

Here's another possible option:
In windows 2000 you can just print directly via IP.
Oddly though, the process starts by specifiying that you want to create a local printer, not a network printer.
Then you create a new port and choose Standard TCP/IP port, just follow the wizard. Works great for me.
Of course, I'm assuming you have TCP/IP on your network.

Hi Ipphiggp,

I know about the TCP/IP printing but I need to be able to capture it to LPT1. We have DOS apps that require it.

Nice TID Lou, but I note the comment at the end of the TID:

"Client 32 for Windows NT and 2000 does not and will not provide this capability".

That's a bit of a bind! -----------------------------------------------------
