Capturing Incoming Caller ID with SMDR 6

I have a customer with a MICS with 7.1 software. They have an SMDR6 connected to an extension, and a call accounting program. They currently are not receiving caller ID information on incoming calls. I have set the SMDR to Norstar and to report All and still nothing. any ideas?
 
Think he mean its plugged into station port

Caller id on a pots line comes in after 1 ring so make sure whatever "as in VM is set to answer after 1 ring..If its a PRI t1 "as in 23 /1 dch" need to be a CTA

Pretty much retired from telecom and now grow and sell perennials from April-November and Ski from Nov-April
