Does anyone know of way to capture the event that fires off when a dialog box is opened in Word? I'm trying to disable the "Organizer" dialog box from being available to users. I know that many of the menu commands can be intercepted by using procedures such as "Sub FileSaveAs" but I do not know of a similar construct for dialog boxes and my research has turned up nothing.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Have you tried recording a macro using only keystrokes (no mouse clicks) to get through the dialog box?

(Or maybe I don't understand what you are trying to accomplish.)

Hi,

MS Applications as designed to be flexible tools for users. Word is a word processor tool. Attempts to severly curtail the functionality of these applications meet with disappointing results, since there are so many ways a savy user can get to the built-in functionality.

Either live with the undesired capability, buy a word processor that has the functionality you want, or design your own work processor.

Well, not using Word isn't an option. It must be used. Thankfully, I've found a way to deal with my problem.

Thanks for the comments.
