Capture Page Number from Access Report

I have a subreport that needs the page numbers generated by the Main Report.

I know you can capture the page number for use on an Access report itself, but, can you capture page numbers from an Access Report for Use by a Subreport or Load to a Table after the report is opened?

Do you have any ideas for a solution for the page number capture?

You should be able to use the Parent object i.e. parent.page in the subreport to return the page number from the parent report.

The controls source on the subreport should be =[parent].[page]

or in VB on the Format event for instance

text1=me.parent.page
