I would like to be able to enter text in any fashion, all caps, all lowercase, etc... and then be able to format the text fields after the fact to be in mixed text form (first letter caps, the rest lowercase) I cannot locate this formatting feature anywhere in access. I know i can format text in word, but i would rather not have to export the data, format it and then import it again...any suggestion on how to automate this function???

thanks

Look up the StrConv Function in help... Terry M. Hoey

Hi

You need the strconv function:

strconv ("any old string", vbProperCase)

will produce "Any Old String"
