After upgrading our system from MICS 6.0 to MICS 7.0, I noticed that our CAP (Ext.100) is not working the way it used to. We have Norstar Voice Mail 4.0 on the system as the Auto-Attendant. On the CAP (M7324 with 2 CAP unit) attached this is what it no longer does:
Buttons B01 thru B12 were Lines 1 - 12. They are physically still there when you press the buttons. Prior to the upgrade, when calls came in, You could visually watch the calls come into the system, it would start with visual flashing (Non-Audible) and then go steady when the auto attendant answered and so forth down the lines as each call came in. The Attendant console (CAP/ Ext.100) would only ring if the caller choose "0" from the auto attendant menu or there were an internal call. Now the lines are just there, no visualization anymore. So, when the calls start loading up, the operator has no way of telling where the calls are in relation to the lines. Again MICS 7.0 T1(Fiber) system with M7324 Attendant console and 2 KLM's attached. Thanks.

1-12 are these analog lines or T1 channels?

What are the programmed settings for these lines on the extension 100?

can you confirm the NAM version is it 4.0 or 4.1 - this has nothing to do with the problem

I'm not sure, However, I did back up on excel the data from MICS 6.0 before Installed 7.0 Perhaps I could locate it on the data sheets?

As you can tell I'm not Nortel Trained. I'm just savy enough to find the answers and get it corrected. Is this the NAM version you were asking about?
