Canvas In TListView ??

Hey All.
I'm having some problems with the TListView.
When i set up a background on the ListView->Canvas, the itens are printet with a gray color ( or the color of the ListView) around the Caption, the size of the ItemHeight and length of the Caption.
Is there a way to make the Items in the ListView's Items apear in a transperent box ?
If you understand what i'm trying to say, pleace mail me, i can send screenshot for further explenation.

Which type of transparency you need?
Full transparency is one under that desktop is visible, or form transparency is one under that from or its component are visible. What are tou need?

Hey Pavlo.
I want to draw a bitmap behind the listitems.
But the caption of the items is like a nontransperent label, witch means there is a gray box around the caption.
