When you do it says "transfering to extension ***" ..."extension not valid"

The covering extension in audix is 700. Subscriber 700 is created in Audix.

Under the VDN 700 info attendant vectoring is set to no.....no audix name is listed.

The vector info for the main number xxx-x700 also shows attendant vectoring as no....

Could this be the problem? Or do you have any other ideas?

Andre

Try it to a ported number and see if it works. Then you can play with it a little from there. You might be able to make it cover from the ported number to the VDN.

I just tried that...then covering to a vdn. Doesnt work - same error message.

I did discover that I get that same error when i try to transfer anywhere out of a voicemail box (*T to transfer to another extension or 0 to operator).

In the Audix it shows:

CALL TRANSFER OUT OF AUDIX
Transfer Type: enhanced_cover_0
Transfer Restriction: subscribers
Covering Extension: 700

In the PBX features it shows:
Internal Auto-answer of attd-extended/transferred calls: Transfered

and under coverage forwarding it shows:
external cov treatment for transferred incoming trunk calls? N
Coverage after forwarding: Y

This feature has not worked since install a couple months ago...Does any of this help? Any other ideas??

Andre

Not sure about the vdn 700 and vector setup. if you have sent it to a extension and it is not following the coverage path of the extension it is probably because the 'enhanced_cover_0' feature does not allow the call to follow a coverage path.try changing it to 'enhanced'.

I tried and it wont accept. It says:

Transfer type invalid for administered switch integration type

I also tried in the Web Based administration adding the VDN for the operator into the allowed:

Allowed Transfer Numbers

Add Allowed Numbers
Delete Allowed Numbers
Display Allowed Numbers

Denied Transfer Numbers

Add Denied Numbers
Delete Denied Numbers
Display Denied Numbers

but it didnt make a difference. I put it back to how it was: nothing under allowed or denied.

Any ideas???

Is there anyone else familiar that could help me???

Please
Andre

Shot in the dark... What if you remove the subscriber 700 from the IA770 and try it?

Keep the covering extension as 700 and all the other things in place.

Just a thought, because I don't recall creating 0 as a subscriber in the Intuity's - but that was some time ago.

Thanks,
CJH

Hello,

I have a few instances of IA 770. Out transfer works.

What is the covering extension 700 - can you describe? Our is also set to:
Transfer Type: enhanced_cover_0
Transfer Restriction: subscribers
Covering Extension: 1780

But on our system, 1780 is also programmed into the PBX as an X ported station, with a coverpath to our Guard house...
