Getting this message on WINME at startup but the booting continues after "press any key to continue".[surprise] C Drive is IBM 9.1GB SCSI-3UW LVD. Been a charm since day one. All other SCSI devices were removed from controller and no change. Doesn't happen all the time. Have lots of devices and looked other day and saw the PS specs 230 watt. I think this might be too small for my system. As follows.

ABIT BH- 6 Celeron 300A OC to 450mhz 128mb SDRAM PC-100
Adaptec AHA2940U2W

HIVAL 52X CD-ROM
TDK 32/10/40 CD/RW

could be a duff file. but also an error message you get from a hard drive on the way out. run a thorough scandisk, defrag, and backup. Does the error message have a number or mention a file?

Are there any hard disk checking utilities in your SCSI BIOS? Press CTRL A on boot up to find out.
