This is a really odd problem and I haven't got a clue how to resolve it.
When I go to open a file in Word or Excel and I click on the drop down menu to select the location of the document I am trying to open. I cannot see the full description of the network drive.
eg.
In Word 97
I click File/Open and the window opens.
Then I click on the 'Look in' drop down to select the location of the file I want to open.
I can see a list of my mapped network drives but only the first few words of the description, the actual network drive letter not out of the window and cannot be seen.
This only occurs on some of the computers on my network and users are complaining that they need to see what the network drive letter is. I have tried playing with the resolution settings and windows fonts&sizes settings but all to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can solve this?? Does office have a setting I change to make this work? Or an .ini file I can change a value in to make the 'Open' window bigger?
It appears to me as if the text is not resizing it's self to fit the window. Any ideas?
