Hi. I received an email that has pictures embedded into the mail (i.e. no paper clip attachment).

But, When I try to forward this mail to other people (including back to myself), the recipient receives a box with a red cross inside.

No, this is not a personal mail. Its for a business email advertisement, thus would appreciate your reply.

p/s: I have disabled NAV Email protection and attempt to send, same problem occur.

If it is in HTML format I would wonder if it is actually an embedded picture or just an HTML statement. Have you looked at the email code to verify this? joegz

Okay, er...if they atttach the file, its with a *.eml extension. When I open the eml, and right click on the picture, they do give the option as save as..does that help? :p

Hi. When I go to view source, this is what I see.

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC &quot;-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN&quot;>
<HTML><HEAD>

<META content=&quot;MSHTML 6.00.2800.1126&quot; name=GENERATOR>
<STYLE></STYLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY bgColor=#ffffff>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV><IMG alt=&quot;&quot; hspace=0 src=&quot;cid:000a01c2944a$243d8ee0$2e01a8c0@grid.com.sg&quot;
border=0>&nbsp;</DIV></BODY></HTML>

Somehow I think its the outlook setting. Coz' Some PC have this problem some don't. ANy suggestions?

I am just a bit confused. So when you forward the message the receipients you forward the message to get this as an .eml attachment but you originally did not receive it his way? Is this correct?

If so then check under TOOLS - OPTIONS - SEND and check under the HTML SETTINGS if send picture with message is checked. joegz
