I have a customer who informed me late into a migration Friday that they have unusual requirements on their phone set. This is what she required:
Phone Set is assigned to Receptionist Ext. #1.
Bridged to her line is the Main line Ext. #2
Also bridged is the Director Ext. #3.
Also Bridged is the Deputy Ext. #4.
All Extensions ring on the Receptionist.
Ext. #3 and #4 do not ring on the people's phone set but ring on their peculiar lines on the Receptionists phone 3 times then trunk to Ext. #1 for 3 rings and then go to the voicemail box for Ext. #1.
I chose to wait until Monday to reprogram this and have the following problems.
Ext. #1 does not take calls at all and goes straight to VM (SAC is not enabled).
I have Ext. #3 and #4 ringing and going to Ext. #1's VM but I cannot adjust the rings for more than 4 rings. It does not seem to be following the Cov Path.
btw, no trouble with Ext. #2.
Any ideas on why the host phone doesn't ring and why the Bridged numbers only ring (actually sounds like 3 rings, then cover and 1 ring before VM picks up)? Help
