Cant Sync or delete CM through SMGR

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my laboratory system.

I can't start a sync between CM and SMGR; this is aborted immediately with the error "CM "oldcm" is not being managed by this System Manager server and could not be synched".
If I create a new CM under the same IP, the sync works. But I can't delete the "old" CM because then the error "Unable to delete Communication Manager 'oldacm', it has Communication Profiles associated with it." appears.

Communication profiles are not displayed to me. Is there a way to directly delete the CM and suspected profile at the database level?

CM / SMGR Version is V 8.

Communication Profiles would be in the App Sequence. So, if you removed that CM from the App Sequence, you might be able to remove it.

The CM is used in a number of places. As Kyle555 notes, the application sequence is one example, additionally, users will have a communication manager assigned. You will need to delete or modify any users so they no longer are associated with the CM. You can "bulk" modify the users to move them to your new CM instance.
