can't start rconsole with win2k/xp client

I can't get rconsole running on a win2k or a winxp machine.
Win95/98/NT no problem.

The following errormessage is displayed:
the original message (in german):
Dieses Dienstprogramm erfordert die Nachrichtendateiversion 4.20.0.

My(!) translation:
This service program requires Message file version 4.20.0.

What could be the cause and how i could get rconsole running on each client?

What Service Pack is your server running? You may be advised to install the latest SP which will update RCONSOLE.EXE and RCONSOLE.MSG which should resolve your issue. -----------------------------------------------------

Oh, I solved the problem, as i recognized that the english version are running fine.
A version compare discovered a difference in the german version which wasn't updated with NW5.1 SP3.
I copied all necessary files rcons* and textutil* to local folder and *well done* it works.
