Can't start ES2003 because "can't be part of a NLB cluster"

I'm trying to install ES2003 on a W2K server with no luck. This server is alone and not part of a NLB cluster. I've tried reinstalling everything from scratch to solve the problem but had no luck.

Everything goes fine until I try to run the Internet Mail Wizard. I get an 8004100e error id and the report says "Can not be part of a Network Load Balancing cluster"

Why would I be getting this message and any ideas what I can do about it?

I am having this exact same problem! I cannot find any reason for it. Can anyone help?

Do you have multiple NICs with IP routing enabled, or did you create an additional SMTP virtual server prior to running the wizard?
