FC4 question. Can ssh into the server with the standard port 22 address. Change /etc/ssh_config port setting to my choice, exacute the command 'service sshd restart'. When I try to ssh into this server from remote system get the message 'ssh: connect to host 192.168.0.15 port xxx: No route to host'. (note: xxx's is the setting I'm using for the new non-standard port address). Can't ssh in on standard port 22 either. Is there any other config setting that needs changing?

Small typo. File name should be /etc/sshd_config. Sorry.

Is IPTables blocking trafic on the port you've change ssh to run on? Is the hardware firewall? Is forwarding set up properly for the port (if there is a hardware firewall)?

Thanks, iptables WAS blocking the port in question....
