Hi to all,
Here's the problem: I can receive e-mails but can't send them except to one domain extension (that of my ISP which is Wanadoo in France). In other words, if I send a message to whoever@wanadoo.fr it works; if I send it to whoever@whatever.com it won't work. I'm on windows 2000 pro with outlook 5. It does this on only one computer; the other computers on the same account work fine (they're on win98).Thanks in advance.
Chris

Is the SMTP server the same on both the working PC and the problem PC? Also is DNS configured the same?

Yes, smtp and dns are the same. The computers are configured the same way. The problem one was working fine until the 13th. I checked it for viruses with latest version of sophos and all seems ok...

Odd...

Is the SMTP server a local one (which relays to the ISP) or is it the ISP server itself? Also do you get any bounce back error email?

As you say : odd
The smtp server is the ISP. No bounce back error mail. The messages just stay in the "outbox"... unless they have a wanadoo.fr extension...
