I'm using an Addtron 5 port hub, hand have cable internet. What i've got now, is the cable is connected via ethernet cable to the uplink slot on the hub, and my XP and ME machines are connected in the 1 and 2 slots. The ME machine can connect fine to the net, ect. my XP machine, howeer...won't. I'vc tryed this without having the modem in the equasion at all, and still....I can't get acess to either machines from the other. Also, my XP machine's CD-ROM IDE port is bad on the board, so that rules out USB for the XP machine, can anyone help me, please? :)

Step one. Go buy a router....netgear makes a nice one for around 50 dollars.

Step two. Get rid of Me...at all costs

Step three. Follow the instructions on the router package.

Step four. Enjoy internet on two machines

Heartily agree with steps WizofBaud suggests = ME is deadly.
