Hi There,

I have a cluster of two servers. These servers are our files servers and also hold a SQL database.

On one node of the cluster, I can see the SQL database in the selection lists (where I tick what to backup) and when it is on the other node I cannot.

The person before me mentioned that there was a setting in the registry that will fix this, but I don't know if this is a server side setting (i.e. on the server I am backing up) or on BE server.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

THANKS

If they thought it was in the registry i would think it
would be on the BE server side. Its most likely not an
agent restriction but some sort of restriction on the
BE server application side.

I havn't had expierence with a setup that sounds exactly
like yours but i have had to modify the settings in
the registry before for BE Services for an Oracle agent.

Lemme know what versions of BE your using and i'll see
what i can find out on the systems i admin.

Think its going on 17 client locations now. :)
